Haramosh
Kutwal Lake, Haramosh
A glacial lake beneath Haramosh peak

Overview
Kutwal Lake lies in the Haramosh valley, beneath the glaciers and summit of Haramosh, and is reached on foot through mountain villages.
The Haramosh valley branches off the road between Gilgit and Skardu. From the end of the road, a trekking route climbs through villages and pastures to Kutwal, where a calm lake sits beneath Haramosh and its glaciers.
It is a rewarding trek for reasonably fit walkers who want an authentic mountain experience. We arrange local guides and porters, and plan the pace and overnight stays around your group.
